On this blog, the first Friday of October is traditionally declared as
“Blogacatmas”, the feast day in which bloggers are encouraged to engage
in that most stereotypical of blog activities: posting pictures of
cats. Here’s the first one, courtesy of my friend Eldon Brown…
As is tradition on a number of Blogware blogs, the first Friday of
October is Blogacatmas, that special day on which we engage in the
bloggiest of activities: posting cat pictures! Remember, the photo need
not be of your own cat (I’m allergic to the hateful little
eggrolls-in-waiting myself), but any old cat picture. The more amusing
the photo, the better.

The first friday of October is fast approaching, which by tradition on
this blog is Blogacatmas, the annual celebration in which I invite all
bloggers to engage in that most stereotypical blogging activity:
posting pictures of cats on their blogs!
This Friday, October 7th, I encourage all of you with blogs to
participate by posting at least of picture of a cat to your blog. It
needn’t be a photo of your cat — any ol’ cat will do. The funnier the
cat picture, the better.
It’s also the birthday of Dave “Logan’s Dave” Ahrens, longtime friend of Wendy and one of the “bridesmen” at our wedding. Happy birthday, Dave!
I return to regular blogging and work on Monday, October 3rd. Same blog, same URL, same job, new marital status!
