In case you missed it over the holidays, here’s a pointer to Lifehacker’s list of the best Windows Phone 7 apps, which fall into a number of categories: productivity, internet/communication, location-aware/social networking, utilities, music/media and food/shopping/entertainment. There doesn’t seem to be a games category, but that’s okay – it gives me an excuse to review (and therefore, play) some!

The Dyson sitting in the corner of my home office.
The Dyson DC25 “Ball” vacuum is a fine example of industrial design and it sucks harder than all three Star Wars prequels put together — but in the good way! Right now, Future Shop and Best Buy are selling them for CDN$450, which is a $150 savings. I never thought I’d spent Christmas present money on a vacuum, but the office and apartment look great!
Two Girls, Two Accordions

I don’t exactly what’s happening here, but it looks like Gianni Mirizzi (a Facebook friend of mine – you know, the whole accordion secret society thing) is rockin’ out. Well done, sir!
Here’s a YouTube video of Gianni in action, and there are many more:

Seriously, Melanie, Dracula’s trying to “do you a solid” here…
Click the comic to see it at full size.
Quick Grammar Lesson: When Dracula says “It is I,” he’s using correct grammar. “It is me” (or “It’s me”), while seemingly less formal, is also incorrect. “It is he” and “It is she” are also the correct forms, while “It is him” or “It is her” are wrong. That’s because in these cases, the pronoun is the subject and “it” is the object.
What Was That Economics Term?
Seen while shopping around for a new vacuum cleaner:

For some reason, I can’t remember the economics term used to describe the fall in value of certain types of goods after a specific date. If you know, could you refresh my memory in the comments?
(Also: $185 is a lot to ask for a mangy-looking tree.)
And no, the term I’m looking for isn’t “SALE”, as my smart-ass schoolmate William Merlet suggested on Facebook.
