The next time I see two Star Trek geeks arguing about which is better — the original series or TNG — I’d force to listen to William Shatner do Rocket Man, and Stewart doing this… Jean Luc rules! End of discussion. Move along.

Strange but true: At one of ST:TNG’s story pitching sessions by non-staff writers, there was one writer who actually pitched a proposal for an all-singing, all-dancing episode.
The writer even had a semi-logical rationale for the story. But the producers took a pass on the idea.

Hey man, Brent Spiner has done SONDHEIM. Freaked me the hell out when I realised it was Data with the bad German accent on the Sunday in the Park With George CD.
I will not rest until I see Michael “Worf” Dorn performing Motorhead’s Ace of Spades in full Klingon uniform, especially the “That’s the way I like it baby, I don’t wanna live forever!” line.
Joey – that is genius. Oh man, what an image, I’d be in awe. Although I suspect Worf’s performance will be somewhat stiffer.
Now that I think about it, Worf would make a good Gene Simmons. You can just imagine that Klingon tongue sliding up and down his Battleth (sp?).
Having not installed trackback yet, here’s a ‘manual’ one. Thanks for posting a fun clip. It’s so much better than “Lucy in the Sky” or Nimoy’s “Bilbo Baggins”. (Shudder)
