Back in high school, after reading Space-Time and Beyond for the umpteenth time and drinking one too many zombies with my friend Henry, we came up with a theory:
In the infinite set of universes, there had to exist a particular universe in which the events in our lives were being watched as a TV show.
We then made a solemn vow to live the kind of life that got high ratings.
This is the continuation of that story.

I slept in until 9:00 this morning. It’s easy to rationalize this as a way to skip commuting during rush hour.. as Cory Doctorow points out, the sleep deprived are terrible drivers.

I know it’s silly, but beyond all the other impossibilities of this photo, I’d like to point out that penguins live only in the Antartic and polar bears only in the Artic, so that’s how I knew it was fake!
It must have escaped from a zoo.
