In addition to rather phallic gummi guitars, Hannah Montana Concert Candy also has even more phallic gummi microphones:
Strange Smell Around Dupont Station

Dupont subway station.
News reports say that a strange “turpentine-like” smell sickened a number of people inside and near Accordion City’s Dupont subway station. The police and the fire department were called in, and it’s expected that they’ll tell us more about the smell later today.

Here’s a photo of Hampton Catlin and me at his Mad Men-themed party on Saturday. Between the way we’re dressed and the graininess of the photo, it looks as if a hidden camera is catching us conducting some kind of sordid business deal. I love it!
Happy birthday, Hampton!
Scramble from Sam Javanrouh on Vimeo.
Last week, I wrote about the new scramble crossing at the corner of Yonge and Dundas. I haven’t yet had a chance to see it in action for myself, but luckily Sam “Daily Dose of Imagery” Javanrouh has posted timelapse video of the crossing. It’s not Shibuya Crossing, but it makes for interesting viewing.

We’re now in a world without Don La Fontaine, the voice actor whose work you’ve probably heard — he’s the guy famous for the deep voice-over in movie trailers that go “In a world…”
Here’s a short YouTube video on Don La Fontaine:
and here’s his GEICO ad:
R.I.P., Mr. La Fontaine.
Since this Hallowe’en takes place less than a week before the U.S. presidential elections and women’s costumes have been getting skimpier over the years, may I suggest this Sarah Palin bikini costume for you trick or treaters?
