Supermodels, celebrities and rock stars all rely on Fotoshop by Adobé.
One year ago today, I ended up in a room that looked pretty much like this:
The whole story – one that I shouldn’t be alive to tell – is documented in the article titled My Hospital Week.
Today, one year later, I’m visiting this place:

Definitely much better than a room in the ICU.

A pity I have to return to colder climes on Sunday.
Caveat Emptor

John Philip Green lives in my neighbourhood (the High Park area of Accordion City) and he noticed a couple of things about the listing for the house pictured above:
House Needs Major Renovations…House Is Not Heated. There Is No Water In The House. Great potential!…Pls Do Not Bring Children – It Is Not Safe.
It’s 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, asking $599,900. Let the bidding war commence!
Arrest Scene or Fashion Ad?
My friend Lisa Goldman shared this picture on her Facebook feed (click on it to see the original at full size). It may look like a Diesel Jeans or Benneton ad, but it’s actually a Palestinian woman being arrested at Jericho checkpoint by two female Israeli border guards.
Without commenting on the woman’s innocence or guilt, I’d simply like to say that I hope I look I look this stylin’ when it’s my turned to get hauled away.
Rage Against the Marching Band
Here’s a song I never expected a marching band to cover: Rage Against the Machine’s Killing in the Name, as performed by George Mason University’s Green Machine.
Greg Knauss’ catchy tweet from earlier this week has become a popular graphic.
