Remember: When 9/11 happened, NATO and Canada came to the U.S.’ aid

I’ve got a lot of work- and other-stuff-related stuff to do as I write this, so I’m going to let pictures and video do most of the talking in this article.

First, a quick fact-check:

Second, there’s the matter of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, enacted on December 22, 2023. It prohibits the President from unilaterally withdrawing from NATO without getting either:

  • the approval of a two-thirds Senate super-majority, or
  • an act of Congress.

And remember, since it was passed by Congress — the legislative branch of the United States government — it is law.
