The Great Declutter Sale, part 4: The LURVEseat and the Comfy Couch, $200 each!

The Great Declutter Sale continues! I need to unload a fair bit of my stuff, so this is your chance to get it, and at a fraction of the original cost!  So far, it’s been small stuff: books (and there are more), Zunes (sold out), and the drill (snapped up), but I’ve also got well-cared-for furniture that could be yours, too!

In this installment of the Great Declutter Sale, I’m putting up two staples of my living area that you may have seen at one of my social events: the LURVEseat and the Comfy Couch.

The LURVEseat

This cream-coloured mini-couch was too cool to simply be called a loveseat. I had to call it the LURVEseat, after the way the late great booty-soul singer Barry White pronounced the word “love” in conversation (“C’mon baby, it’s time for us to make luuurrrve!“).

The LURVEseat has strange powers of arousal. Many a romance, and many more short-lived-but-steamy dalliances have been kindle by its ample, fluffy cushions. It seats two comfortably, and from all reports, it feels as if it were designed specifically for the facilitation of make-outs.

The LURVEseat did not come from a down-market purveyor or vendor of semi-disposable Swedish particle board, but from Barrymore. It’s about a dozen years old, it gets professionally steam-cleaned yearly, and it’s been Scotchgard-treated.

The LURVEseat can be bought separately, or perhaps you might want to pair it up with the Comfy Couch:

The Comfy Couch matches the LURVEseat. It’s been used more often than the LURVEseat, so its cushions aren’t as fluffy, but it’s still very comfortable, and I’ve fallen asleep in it many, many times.

Like the LURVEseat, the Comfy Couch came from Barrymore, is professionally steam-cleaned annually, and is Scotchgard-treated.
