Nightlife... and Ottawa, in the same sentence? Maybe they sampled all the weed the government is smoking and that's what they mean by party.
I was really surprised to see how quiet Ottawa downtown gets at night when I visited for the first time in a while last summer.
Well there's your problem. We hide the nightlife in the Market, in Gatineau, out in Wakefield... basically everywhere except the downtown core :)
