Madeleine and Thai, note the arrows. They're not on tiers, it's a single path. It shows that being a principal is above being a pimp. You will stay after school today to work on your observational skills. :)
Jake, the reason that Madeleine and Thai raise the question that they do is because Joey titled the post "chain-of-command", a term which explicitly recognizes a hierarchy.
