I first became aware of Gary Spivey through his teamup with Paul Orndorff. (He's not to be confused with Dan Spivey, who teams with Mike Rotunda as the US Express.) His bizarre appearance backstage at Fall Brawl 1995 was one of the strangest things I've ever seen, and I talked about it for years and vainly hoped to see it again someday.
