I like to think that Eddie Murphy got tired of only playing the entire cast in his movies and decided to also act as the vehicles and other inanimate objects.
Well, cawlin, that's essentially what he does in this one--he plays both an inch-tall alien and the full-size robot that he pilots on earth.
