I’ve decided to take a more active role in the Ruby and Ruby on Rails development communities. The first step in that role is starting a Ruby-specific blog at blog.rubynerd.com:

The blog will cover news and announcements related to the Ruby programming language, as well as my own contributions to the body of documentation about it.

As for articles, I’ve already posted three:

• RailsConf 2007: Just Over 100 Seats Left! If you haven’t signed up yet, do so soon.
• Hivelogic’s “Building Ruby, Rails, Subversion, Mongrel, and MySQL on Mac OS X”. If you’re thinking about seriously getting into Rails development on OS X, this is the installation recipe to follow.
• Ruby Moving Up the TIOBE Charts. This time last year, Ruby’s rank on the TIOBE Programming Community Index was 20. Today, it’s a number 10, just behind JavaScript.
