Canadian TV Trivia Tidbit

Y’know, when I was young, oversexed and lived by an ocean, I smiled more than these guys.

If you’ve been watching the CanWest Global TV network or riding the subway in Accordion City, you have been deluged with promos for the new series, Falcon Beach. You have probably (and correctly) guessed that it is the Canadian answer to the hit TV show, The OC.

What you may not have guessed is that it’s made in Winnipeg (a.k.a. “Winterpeg” and “The Peg”). Winnipeg Beach, to be precise. Boss Ross’ hometown.

Mind you, I believe they don’t say where the beach is in the show, and another TV show did manage to convince us that Pittsburgh (actually Toronto in steeltown drag) was a gay party town.
