Rep. Maureen Walsh’s Touching Remarks on the Washington State Same-Sex Marriage Debate

She’s amazing, and not just b/c she’s a fair minded Republican. I wish everyone could take a step back and reflect upon gay marriage as a whole instead of looking at it like it will affect their families, their homes, their thoughts, and morals and look at it for what it is; an equal right that should be afforded to everyone b/c love has no boundaries.

I have never voted Republican in my life but I would vote for this woman. Our Washington Congress could certainly learn a lot from her.

I heard this on CBC Radio1.
It was so touching.
It’s great when politicians discuss things sensibly
