He's upped the ante though. He has a foot pedal sampler that he'll play the bass line into and then play it back in real time and accompany. At first I couldn't figure out what he was doing when I heard 2 notes at the same time. I thought maybe the Bassoon had a drone like a bagpipe or chords like an accordion [Yeah. I am stoopid. I know. Thanks.] and asked how the hell he was doing it. It was pretty cool. He does have a request list which includes the standard rock favorites all the way to Thelonious Monk which is, quite simply, insane...
