Back in high school, after reading Space-Time and Beyond for the umpteenth time and drinking one too many zombies with my friend Henry, we came up with a theory:

We then made a solemn vow to live the kind of life that got high ratings.

I know of Zed Shaw’s history and his “Rails is a ghetto” rant. I’m missing the context with respect to you, though. What’s the deal? Did you stir up some trouble in Rubyland too?
David Warde-Farley: Both Zed and Ilike saying outrageous things in different ways (he’s just more hardcore).
The only trouble I stirred up in Rubyland during the conference was to encourage people to break the PG-13 rule in FAILCamp.
