Refurbished Macs are a terrific deal. Generally they all get carefully tested to ensure everything is in working order. For those eyeing an iMac, I strongly recommend the 24-inch white (previous generation) iMac. It’s a better monitor for a cheaper price (it’s what I got after I read all the scary reports of poor monitor quality on the new “glossy” iMacs). And don’t be fooled by the faster processor speed on the newer ones. Use the savings to max out your ram (but get it from a place like http://canadaram.com/ — Apple grossly overcharges for ram)
