I am French, I have lived in Paris 7 years so transit strikes are something I am quite used to. And I have never seen a newpaper publishing a survival guide for such a common matter :-) When was the last strike here in Toronto ? Anyway, in these occasions I was either : - working from home - using my bicycle (one hour ride) - having a day off, because calling in sick would have been somehow too obvious Elise, former parisian strikes survivor, and still backing up anyone's right to strike.
