They just snapped at us to "go take take the train..." I did a quick check of their <a href="http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/serviceadvisories.htm" rel="nofollow">Service Advisories</a> page and there doesn't seem to be any place where they announce surface route disruptions. There is a page for route diversions for things like road construction, but not for disruptions. @Jacquilynne: Good point!
