The Simpsons’ “It’s a Wonderful Life” Homage

Update: Some quick notes…

  • I didn’t compile or make these images; I found ‘em, thought they were neat and posted them for everyone to see.
  • You can find more images like this at Actualidad Simpson.

The end of the Simpsons episode in which Flanders opens the Leftorium pays homage to It’s a Wonderful Life:

There’s also a it’s a wonderful life reference in the episode where Bart causes the run on the bank, and the bank manager, who is essentially Jimmy Stewart, goes I don’t have your money here, it’s at fred’s house.

Moe: Hey Fred, what are you doing with my money in your house??!!!

I think the funniest part is when Bart says “Insolvent?” in his fake adult voice.
