Hardly a “victory” or a “smackdown”. They still use the seal. And further more it is protected by 1st amendment rights, as well as the fact as The Onion never puts on the air of real news. Any one who thinks The Onion is real news, has the intelect of Bush.

Nice that the administration has solved all other problems such that they can pursue these types of things.

The Onion was correct in 2000 when it ran the following headline after W. was appointed:

Bush: “Our Long Nightmare of Peace and Prosperity Is Finally Over.”
