Eeek!
When I found out about this last week from the Bloor Cinema manager, I almost peed my pants!
I went to that in Salt Lake City a couple months ago. I went mostly so I could say “I saw Crispin Glover once.” Honestly, it was horrible. The movie was not even mildly entertaining. It was more disturbing and disgusting. The Q & A portion was at least somewhat entertaining because of his eccentric personality. You should definitely go though. I would like to hear your reaction to it.
Hmmm…seeing as that will be on the last night of the last time I will see Wendy before flying to Boston for the wedding, it may not be the ideal outing. Otherwise, your semi-endorsement (”Hey, this milk smells kind of funny…here, you taste it! Tell me what you think!”) has me sold!
I saw Crispin interviewed by Henry Rollins on IFC about this movie. Apparently Rollins loved that it challenges people’s views of down syndrome etc, and the fact that it’s disturbing. I am not sure if I can deal with Crispin anymore. I was going to go see the remake of that rat movie with him in it, but had feelings it would lead to creepy dreams!
